I never though EA would make any move towards Linux. Along with Bethesda and Blizzard they have been utterly hostile against Linux. For them it is all about the money.

Interesting. Looks fun, but I wish it had better graphics.
Depraved, a city builder with survival aspects set in the Wild West will have Linux support

Long before it was known that Banished would never come to Linux I have been hoping for a similar game for Linux. Though this game is not on Steam.

If Microsoft acquired Valve I think it would mean the end of Linux gaming, or at least the beginning of the end.
Though I thought the same when they acquired Skype, but look Microsoft committed to providing an updated Linux client. Would never have thought they would.

I wonder if it could be possible to create an AppImage of Quake4 with these modifications. That way you could always get it to run even if your system libraries change. Having classics like Quake4 running years or decades later would be great.

HOMM3 was previously released on Linux by Loki Software. It really should be re-released on Steam.
