The Chaos Engine available for Pre-Purchase on Steam
16 Aug 2013 at 9:29 pm UTC

Quoting: RustyboltsWell the Chaos Engine was made and named long before game engines became popular. Although there were game engines around such as freescape, games tended to be programmed from scratch.
Oh that's good to know. I thought this game was newer I guess.

The Chaos Engine available for Pre-Purchase on Steam

Am I the only one who thinks that the word "engine" should not be in the title of a videogame? It almost suggests that the Chaos Engine is an actual game engine lol.

System Shock 2 cult classic sci-fi horror FPS-RPG Looks Like It Is Heading To Linux

As long as the WINE bottle is properly maintained and optimized, it's better than nothing. And judging by the age of this game WINE should handle it very well.

Are GOG.com About To Support Linux?
15 Aug 2013 at 8:24 pm UTC

Quoting: liamdaweIt seems that even when I state "pure speculation" people still compare my articles to Phoronix :(, maybe I need to make a massive banner stating "this could be completely untrue".
The Could in the title is enough warning. :)

And I myself believe that GOG has not supported Linux yet for the same reasons many developers haven’t: the overwhelming amount of distributions. I think it would be best if GOG focused on the basic .sh approach with the dependencies for all major distributions listed on the download page (debian, Ubuntu, arch, etc.). That way they could minimize support to making sure you have the dependencies installed rather than maintaining 50,000 different builds for every distro under the sun.

Tropico 5, City Builder Will Come To Linux
15 Aug 2013 at 8:18 pm UTC

Great news. The title is a bit confusing. It seems that the tropico 5 city builder (like editor) is coming to Linux. Maybe you could reword it? Like Tropico 5, an Island City Builder is headed to Linux.

Thanks anyway.
It's custom coded by me and no one is perfect. Thanks for the insult ;), jokes aside I have been told a simple way to do it so it's not even necessary now, so this post is a tiny bit redundant.

You're welcome, oh look I double quoted :P
