Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääOne has to have a company in order to have a game on Steam? Behind all those absolute worthless and untested excuses for games there is a company? Really?Legal issues haven't prevented them releasing on Google Play right away. What's the difference one might wonder.
Here's an open source (nowadays quality) game just about to reach considerably wider audience and an example how one could possibly also make bigger bucks through it..
Some powers in attempt to prevent the first gates from opening towards mainstream or what?

There is a petition floating about in web to officially call Ikey Doherty a "Linux Badass" everytime he's referenced.
Boy has he done some service for Linux in general already!

Quoting: SamsaiIt was heroic to take Brütal Legend that much, really. Last fridays livestream was another Samsai classic.Absolutely love this project, since I'm a huge fan of the early Westwood strategy games. We've had a blast in the past doing Linux gaming tournaments using OpenRA, like the time Samsai rage quit after getting annihilated.I am not mad you brought this up again. I am just disappointed.

Quoting: DolusThis really isn't the best place for political discussion, but there are clearly nutjobs on the left just like there are on the right.I don't believe you! You also imply to go for the middle! That is hate speech! Can't you see?

When Full Throttle Remastered arrives i'll be instantly buying it for myself and couple more times for friends also. Maybe if enough Linux gamers to this, we might even get a Thank You as from Thimbleweed Park devs. Linux sales were far better than expected. Both point & click adventure pearls.

Quoting: PerkeleenVittupSome of the key persons inside Valve have been intimidated by Microsoft in my knowledge. For example MS and their cronies have practiced this for decades in countless instances. They are not going to give an inch away without a fight, my friend. Gaben is also not untouchable. I'm sure this is considered tinfoil speech here. This is the truth though. Regular people can be very gullible in their inherent faith in righteousness. We must reach for equality in every area of this rotten system.Funnily enough, Valve didn't even list the actual file you need to updateWhy is Valve so "funny" about their business all the more now? Why is it, that they basically could change the whole gaming field in favor for Linux (which they seemingly endorse) with few swift strokes. Windows would be on it's way out.
Even MS themselves realize "something"; they joined the Linux Foundation as a platinum member. Linux will be de facto platform for gaming in future. Why not just speed the inevitable up?
