yey! HexDSL! IU <3 that dude!
Honestly though, i played it on stream the other evening using wine. it ran fine but the twitch integration was busted in wine.
game is VERY fun takes a lot of effort and planning for what is essentially a very simple game. got a real 'aliens' vibe to it and a full campaign. also a score challenge mode that is quite the challenge indeed.

Hey all,
Outside of stuff i play for my YouTube Videos I'm playing a lot of 'Rento Fortune' its a Monopoly clone but has very reliable online multiplayer that takes just a click or two to get going. It is just monopoly but its been GREAT fun and a good backdrop to chatting with friends.
once we are all done with Rento, we have been playing 'Chaos Reborn.' for those that have not encountered it, its a strange strategy game with wizards. It plays like a card game but the cards summon creatures that you move like chess pieces. It has a lot of depth to it and never fails to entertain :)
As much as it seems like those two have taken up most of my time the last few weeks, when I do play something alone I have been on 'Dungeon Rushers.' its about clearing dungeons and taking loot. It's mostly a classical 16 bit style JRPG combat style (ny dudes on one side, theirs on the other, take turns firing skills off) mixed with a silly story and simple exploration of dungeons (done in the style of a counter on a board.) It sounds dull, i know! but its oddly engaging.

I do hope that this behaviour changes. it would be nice if Linux gamers were better than the rest of the gamers but i fear thats not going to happen

Quoting: PeciskNo, message porters take was....if you try to do it, and if you fail to deliver, you get threats and hate mail.i agree. this is not okay. in fact i think you are most correct. however. this also happens when a windows game launches sub standard. its unfortunate but it has become part of doing business in the gaming industry and honestly has nothing at all to do with Linux.
It is huge difference from just being discontent with Witcher 2 release which WAS buggy and slow. One is personal attack, which is just low and huge no. Another is criticism about your professional work - which is all fine. We all have it at some point in our lives.
NONE of that was justified. Doesn't mean we should call out badly done ports or releases. We should. But learn some decency.

the port was crappy when it was released. people complained because they couldnt play crappy port.. port fixed, people stop complaining...
The message that the porting team SHOULD have taken from this "dont ship broken game!"
The message they DID take from this was "screw them for calling us out on broken shit, lets not give them anything else"
Ill be honest, if THIS is their attitude, im not even sure i WANT their port any more.
