The engine looks amazing.
Have to admire the guy's passion despite being offered recruitment from other major engine companies.
Now ... if only I wasn't so inept at coding to actually be able to use it.

I heard bad things about this one .
Once it went full triple A with the new publisher the price was bumped to 50$ and as far as i heard about gameplay it suffered the common issue of a lot of poorly designed survival games - aka fill the bars (food, water, etc)
Maybe gameplay got refined. Still price remains at 50 .

Quoting: BeamboomLooked cool, but very odd movement in that you can only turn 90 degrees and advance like on a game board. Wonder what the reasoning is behind this odd design decision? To emulate a board game?I would think it is more likely to emulate the old dungeon crawler formula.
Looks like a Linux beta of Battle Chasers: Nightwar is finally coming (update: it's here)

Quoting: HamishMan, seeing all these titles I have no relationship with makes me realize how completely divorced I have become from the mainstream Linux gaming community these days. :|OK , I'll be honest , that makes me curios.
If anyone has any doubts how much the Linux gaming scene has grown, you just have to look at people like me sitting on the margins. Back in the day, it was simply not big enough for there to be margins.

Quoting: liamdaweI'll offer to buy the "butter"Quoting: Purple PuddingHey no worries at all :)Quoting: liamdaweNo issues at all, I only thought two things:Quoting: Purple PuddingOh, what's your issue with me playing it exactly? :huh:Quoting: PatolaIs Doki Doki Literature Club a Linux Game? Linux icon does not appear on steam and I cannot install it on my distro by clicking on "play".Yeah, just download it from itch.io.
I guess I really should try Doki Doki soon then…Oh, I (don't) wanna see that.
If you dislike Visual Novels just have Sin play it for us, she had quite an experience with Dream Daddy.
-for what I've seen in the livestreams, you're not too fond on reading a lot (but I may be wrong about it)
-Sin has a camera to capture the best moments;)
Maybe you're thinking about that "don't".
Well, part of me doesn't want to replay the experience(:O), so it wasn't something about you or anyone.
The other part though, want to see the livestream in action,so just do it!;)
Sorry for the misunderstanding!
Actually, there's only been one time I complained about reading, which was the first time I tried ATOM and that was mainly as I was ill at the time, but still wanted to livestream and chill. I went back to it and did it once I was feeling better :)
I get what you mean now, I've heard it can be a little disturbing. Maybe we can butter Sin up to just do it ;)

As someone who loses patience with roguelikes quickly after a good run suddenly ends and all progress is lost , this appeals to me.

There's three different game modes available to appeal to many different people: A Heroic Mode, which features permadeath where banked goods and town progress are saved. An Adventure Mode, where you respawn when you die but you do lose some money and XP and also a Hardcore Mode with has no progression on death. So happy for this.

Indeed it does look like a hidden object game , but the theme sets it apart enough to be worth a look.
It's possible 'Two Point Hospital' from Two Point Studios & SEGA may be coming to Linux
