Bridge Constructor Portal announced with Linux support, blending engineering with portals

Just hoping for an objective review myself.

Quoting: tuubiGiven the YT comments I am wondering if people will review bomb it on the Steam store page.Quoting: lucifertdarkI have all the older Bridge Constructor games & both Portal games, now there's one that combines both together. Count me in. :DDid you actually enjoy the originals? I only played the first one and thought it must be the least fun bridge building game I've ever tried. I can't remember names, but there are free flash games around that do it better.
I do like how this one looks and I just love Portal, but I'll have to see a few reviews before I even consider having it on my wishlist.

Quoting: slaapliedjeI was planning on playing all the Frictional Games in order, and haven't completed the first one yet, but didn't realize SOMA was one until I had already played a decent amount of it. Ha, oh well it is very visually stunning. Maybe one day I will have more time to play games... probably by the time these are considered "Retro".It's not wine you know. You don't have to wait :P

Quoting: LakortaDas ist nicht richtig. Wir haben regeln fur alles worte im Deutsch.Quoting: razing32So what do you guys call the Orks in the Warhammer 40k franchise ?Never noticed that they are written differently even though I play most of my games in English :D
The "k" is the only thing setting them apart from their medieval-fantasy cousins. That and being fungus based hybrids and all.
AFAIK they are both written with a 'k' in the German versions.

If you like Paradox games you might like it.
Map wise it's turn based . Combat is real time.
People seem to like the combat most , but that's just and outsider opinion. I have some games from the series but I kinda stink at them and am not a very big fan.

Quoting: ElectricPrismWho does this series appeal to? Serious question. It's grand strategy.
I have a very bad habbit of buying up Linux Games in mass and wonder if I would enjoy playing this series.

I think this game started an entire sub culture of this style of RPG-maker(style) horror games but if I recall correctly it was only popular in Japan.
