Whelp . Time to finally play To the Moon and dust it off.

Klei does treat us well.
I admit , I do utterly stink at Dont Starve (and many other games) but that does not stop me from having fun with it.
Looking forward to this too.

Heard of BatMUD? This classic text-based multiplayer game is still going after many years

I tried to get into MUDs several times
I failed each time. Just couldn't keep going.
I don't mind the text but the real time+text nature. I like to read at a slow pace and am easily distracted.
So to die to the casual goblin/gnoll/rat what-have-you is really annoying as I was trying to read WTF Was going on.

I would enjoy a Turn based MUD but that would probably not work as a massive multiplayer experience.

Clash of Robots is a pretty terrible mobile-port fighting game

WOW
I don't think I've ever seen you give a game a review this bad before Liam.
But if it is just a clunky mobile game with microtransactions up the a** then I guess that might explain it.

Nice they ported it .
Sadly , I recall this one was the weakest in the series.

Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition is coming from Beamdog, Linux support confirmed

Quoting: JannePenultima by Stefan Gagne was by far the best campaign; better than any of the official campaigns in the series. I'd consider getting NWN again just to play that one again.
Have not heard of that one.
May check the game again for some user made content.

Manage an Ant colony in 'Empires of the Undergrowth', entering Early Access next month

Hmm. It reminds me of another ant game [External Link] that was planned but the rumor was the team spent the money on strippers. No joke.

Glad we get an ant colony sim. I think the last one was ... gee....AntSim all the while back.

Minecraft's 'The Update Aquatic' is set to overhaul the rather boring ocean

Quoting: stretch611That being said, if there was a gamer style program similar to AA, I might have to join due to 1,000 hours on Rimworld and nearly 1,000 on Factorio. (Note: I may need it... but I wouldn't join it willingly.) :P
So are these games the Borg to you ? :D
Not sure if assimilation is the proper term.... Maybe Achilles's Heel. For some reason Tycoon style sims and Fantasy style RPGs have always been my favorite. It always is fun to build a colony, or train network, and see it thrive. Its even interesting to sit back and watch what you created thrive; like watching a well tuned machine hum along... its hypnotic.

I guess even my enjoyment on TD and RTS games to a lesser degree is due to my enjoyment on builders... building a base instead of a colony.

I'm a game-a-holic, and I have a problem... but damn, I'm sure as hell not going to stop.
Who says you have to.
Probably gaming is among the more benign of vices out there :)
Though not sure I would call it a vice , more like a hobby. Unless you get a second mortgage for loot boxes , then you may need some help :P
