Quoting: BrisseSTOP PRE-ORDERING

There's absolutely no point in pre-ordering, especially when using digital distribution such as Steam. It doesn't benefit you as a consumer one bit and it's always risky.
Sadly too late for that now.
Pre-orders , season pass (basically DLC Pre-order) , microtransactions in full price games , loot crates etc.
These things are becoming more and more ubiquitous and people are getting used to them. If you call them out you look like the bad guy.

I'm resolute to be cynical and watch the world burn :P

Quoting: lucifertdarkIf it wasn't for the fact it's a football game I'd be willing to buy it, but I just can't justify buying a game that I'm never going to play whatsoever. There's not enough money on the planet to convince me to own or play a football game, sorry developers.
Same.
Still kudos to the devs for supporting our platform.

I'm confused. Is this a multiplayer only game like Ballistic Overkill or Counter-Strike ?
Or does it have some single-player stuff also ?

Warbanners, a turn-based, tactical strategy game with role-playing elements will have Linux support

Yup , it does remind me of Wesnoth.
The upgrading part could be more on par with Heroes 4 / Disciples.
Just the movement is a bit janky. Despite being a FOSS project Wesnoth has smoother animation when characters perform an action.
