Quoting: KelsBut what do we have for MMOs with PvE content on Linux? All I can think of off the top of my head are Runequest, Ryzom, and I guess Wakfu, all of which have their problems.
Runequest ?
Isn't that a board game.
I thought you mean Runescape , no ?
I don't play either one, so close enough. :P

But really, is Runescape worth the trouble? It seems hard to find an accurate answer to that given how committed the die-hard fans seem to be.
Not sure really....
I played a little bit , and it seemed fine in the beginning , tutorial and a few quests.
Your corpse has a cool down so passers by cannot loot it immediately after a mob kills you.
I think the a**hole concentration is on the old Runescape game version , at least as far as I heard.

As always, I still think they need a ton more PvE content to keep people interested.
Yup, as a non PvP interested player , that's what I want :)
I guess even if they'd add more PvE content, most non-hardcore PvP players are probably not very likely to touch a game having open world ganking and player-looting with the proverbial 10-foot pole. I am longing for a great Linux suppported MMORPG as much as anyone, but this game is simply not it. It will be a very small game appealing to a very small group of players. They might have some fun with it. But a big thing it will not become.
I'm on board with that, the player-looting especially is a big turn-off since it encourages player-hunting even more.

Quoting: BeamboomEDIT: But wtf is up with that price? SO cheap? Is it a 1-2 hour storyline? I mean, a proper full length story based game should cost more than that?!
It is in Early Access and they only have the first couple of chapters.

StarFlint, is a comedy point & click adventure game not to be missed on Kickstarter, has a Linux demo

Quoting: razing32Really feel sorry I missed the live stream. This would have been awesome in real time.
Well, the best moments are in the video. What isn't on the video was mainly just me dying over and over again and eventually succeeding.
The dying is the funny part :D
