Quoting: natewardawgIt should probably be stated that the fee is "per game". If I'm not mistaken, originally wasn't it going to be a one time fee per developer?
Yes , that seems to be the main difference.
It was 100$ for greenlight and then publish till you drop.
Now it's 100$ per game.

Wonder if they fixed the co=op.
Tried to join Samsai for a game and the results were hilarious and not for good reasons.
All i had was the minimap , while he was stuck in place.

I actually am curios about this.
It reminds me of an old Windows game I liked to boot up and play in bite sized chunks : Hinterland.
Don;t really like Diablo style hack'n'slash games but that did capture me.

@Liam - would you stream this ? Or have you in the past ?

Are these actual ports ?
Did someone do any work on these or is this just a rom + emulator ?

The weekly GamingOnLinux versus Feral Interactive events will return with Dawn of War III
30 May 2017 at 1:22 pm UTC

Starting on Tuesday the 13th of June at 13:00 BST (12:00 UTC)
I never did get why you did these streams in the middle of the day when people are at work/school etc.

Is it because of Feral's schedule ?
I did a quick search and they are located in the UK so I would assume they work 9 to 17 like everybody else.

Quoting: DudesowinWith a 4 faction system this looks more like Warcraft III. I hope they have plans to eventually add in Necrons and Tau.
I hope they add the Sisters of Battle in as well. I only got to play them in Soulstorm
IG for me :) but I am a huge IG fan (from tabletops) and DoW1 WinterAssult was <3

the IG make an appearance in DoW3 single-player so I would not be surprised if the next expansion contains them. Nec would be great but I have bad memories from DoW1 DarkCrusade... the Nec were beyond imba (Tau were fun tho).

Right now DoW3 looks dead :( The steam discussion group is filled will trolls denouncing the game but in part they are sort of right. [H] are also dismissive of this game https://hardforum.com/threads/warhammer-dawn-of-war-iii.1898611/ [External Link]

What would be good is an 8th release & a new expansion announced.
Don;t let the negative reviews get you down.
Wait till someone on this site gets it and streams it (1 week or less i suspect)
The IG were in DoW 2 and 1. Safe bet they will be in Dow 3 also. OR someone mods them in :-p
(Although knowing the gaming community a nudity mod will come first)

And indeed the Necrons were a royal pain in the @$$

Hmm the super meat boy comparison came to mind as well.
If it offers enough to be unique and engaging then I guess it might make a fun little time waster.

If you are interested in a Linux version, please sign here.
Oh give me break. Of course there is interest in a Linux version. Why do developers even bother asking this question?
The question is: How large is the interest? Could a port be worth it? Is it worth the risk?
If i understand correctly , what got peoples feathers ruffled is that Linux support was promised and now they are dicking us around asking if we "have interest".

Just my understanding of it thus far. Could be wrong.
