Quoting: harshbarjI was a major fan of Postal 2. Will have to give Postal Redux a look when it comes out. 2 was great and a joyfully twisted game. I hope that Redux is also just as sick! Anymore I try to buy Linux compatible games, even when buying for my windows box, hoping for the day when I can delete that last windows partition. A person can dream. What do you still play Win only ? Just curios.

I played Postal 2 but never Postal 1
Kind of interesting how many old games are getting ported to Linux.
Still this is a remake so technically not that old.

My guess it'll be more like 3 hours on YT for you.
Think I would need about 5 to learn.
And think that you don;t have to master it. You'll loose mostly at the beginning. I did as well with Paradox games.
But I learned as I lost.

Quoting: Geppeto35Dude if you understood CK2 , these games are cake by comparison.Quoting: Eikeyeah and a tutorial to understand what happens on screen XDQuoting: AimHereAlso, Rome is still one of the more popular games in the series, between the nostalgia factor (it was the first proper 3D Total War, and for many gamers, it was their first game in the series), and the relative simplicity of the gameplay. I wouldn't be surprised if it sells more than some of the later TW games.Do you have a recommendation for a Total War to try for modern graphics and "relatively simplistic" gameplay?
In my Total War, I see soldiers killed and map with stuffs happening. No idea how I can act on the game, like in Crusader king 2 of Paradox. I would have love to play it but I don't have 3 weeks to understand the mechanism of a game. :'-(

Pretty decent of them to be so straightforward about this.
Hope they find a way to keep it available.
And hope people find ways to keep running it.

Quoting: sasannCool.Quoting: HoriIs this game something like OpenArena / Quake ?It is not quite as fast as Quake. Think Black Ops multiplayer with classes thrown in.
I've got it in my wishlist and the Summer Sales are approaching... and I see that people in this community are quite excited about this game so I feel like I have to have it too. :D
Quoting: razing32Hmm , if the summer sale is coming I might just buy it.Works perfectly
