Project Zomboid adds vehicles in a new beta

Quoting: rustybroomhandle
Quoting: razing32I do have some concerns on this game.
Digging through steam reviews I came across one that mentioned the community tried to implement cars as a mod last year and were more successful than the devs.
However since I do not actively play this or follow the community I am unsure of the validity of that statement.
Wonder if anyone can confirm one way or another.

Here is the review I am referencing:

Well, if the devs were ONLY implementing cars, I could see your concern, but they likely have a whole wad of other things also being worked on. It sounds like they are just getting started on cars.
Fair enough. That is one way of looking at it.
I used to really want to play this a while back but looking at all the negative reviews on steam not sure what to think. Maybe I'm letting them get to me too much.

Linux gamers on Arch may want to hold off on updating due to openssl breaking some games (updated)
10 May 2017 at 9:00 am UTC

Quoting: DarkMavrikWell from what I noticed of the 200+ Linux games I have the only ones I noticed broke after updating was feral interactive games. SO figured this was an issue with their ports, if not my mistake.
I thought it was more to do with how Steam integrates these games in its system.

Seems to have what I found lacking in the original.

Game store itch introduces developer logs built into game pages

You know , I used to consider itch as a "toy" client for developers that really didn't belong on Steam or GOG.
But after recent years where steam Greenlight became Steam cesspool and GOG don't seem that interested in taking us seriously as a demographic (I still hold we don't need Galaxy tbh) I am reconsidering my position.

Honestly , the voice acting is great. The game looks , at least from the trailer, like a cheap asset flip thrown out there.
Will hold off on a sale and more reviews.

Quoting: liamdaweGah, the launcher is utterly broken on Arch, nothing appears and trying to run it again just claims it's already running :(
