Valve have changed how gifting games works

Quoting: sasannSo that's why I had to go through hell to gift a game to my cousin last night.
I created an steam account for him, Then tried to gift him the game but he was not my friend on steam. And I could not add him as a friend cause you cannot have friends on steam unless you spend $5 or more on games. I was not able to send him steam funds either!
So I had add $5 to his steam account using my credit card, then add him as my friend, then gift him the game. It should be easier than this.
Agree with you completely.
But then again I can only imaging the sheer number of bot accounts that would pop up if they removed that 5$ limitation.

I want a lot more PvE content,
^^^^^^^
This.

I don't like the PvP part of a lot of games. I played them for a while but most of the times I ended up with steamrolls.
Enemy team has 3 elite players - your team gets pulverized , doesn't matter how good you play
Your team has 3 elite player - your team obliterates the enemy before you even have a chance to do anything
No thank you. Give me good PVE and lore I can enjoy.

My guess would have been developer. ;)

And well, Linux is a better OS than Windows in every regard I can think of. The area Windows is ahead is the number of software products available for it, that's really all. Namely games and design software. If we'd be evenly supported by software, nobody in their right mind would still be using Windows.
Somewhat related to the 2FA talk you were having :
https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/we-were-warned-about-flaws-in-the-mobile-data-backbone-for-years-now-2fa-is-screwed [External Link]

And yes , I think with proper support Linux can beat windows. It's just we lack software, drivers in some cases and what most low-tech users want : easy eye candy operation.
(Still , I don't hate windows as an OS on principle. It could be good too if MS wasn't a bunch of dicks.)

Hmm. Steam comments seem to point to it being scarcely populated.
Did you just play with buddies Liam or some random matches also ?

People will now likely just resort to places like Humble for that purpose.
That does not work.
I have a group of 4-5 friends back home.
Sometimes we buy games for each other on humble to share and play online (especially on sale)
Numerous times we were limited to buying ONLY 2 copies each from Humble.

You just don't play Klei games, you fall in love with them :) I'm sure the linux version will be a very polished port as are rest of Klei games.
I love you Klei

Quoting: Geppeto35One of the character class should be stalker as in the so-impressive novel from Arkady and Boris Strugatsky (if you don't know what to read, try it)
You could mention the novel is Roadside Picnic :P

Great news we are getting more stuff.
Can't say I really enjoyed BFE , but surely other people will enjoy this.

BTW Liam , the way you worded the title makes the game sound like it's the last hope for Linux.
Serious Sam , defender of penguins everywhere:D
