Uhm...
Serious Sam VR is ALREADY out.
The teaser date is for the next "standard" game in the series as i understand it.

Northgard, a great looking strategy title will come to Linux after Early Access
25 Feb 2017 at 1:56 pm UTC

This reminds of the old Cultures games.
I saw on the steam thread they already did some work towards OSX that would benefit the Linux port.
Kinda glad we are getting it after Early-access , means it will be more polished.

Solstice Chronicles: MIA, an incredible looking top-down alien shooter will support Linux

I would love to support this but I got burned when I supported Kingdom Come Deliverance.
And let's not forget that lovely Carmageddon article that was on GOL not too long ago.
The previous game this dev made seems good and in the same spirit but it lacks Linux support. Will wait till release to buy it.

Fumbling around with tanks in War Thunder on Linux, some thoughts

I did play this and somewhat like it , but after WOT and AW the horror of the grind dawns on me.

The only reason I would not support Gaijin as a company is how they lash out on ANY criticism of their game. I;ve heard enough stories to steer clear.

It's his first post. An aspiring troll, perhaps.
Already reported :)

Valve set to replace Greenlight with Steam Direct

Quoting: natewardawgA one time fee of about $100 is probably a really good idea. This keeps absolute junk off of the store, ...
Have you seen some of the crap on the store ?
Have you seen how many "simulator" games there are that are just random joke thrown together unity assets ?
What about all the asset flips that are just a pre-bought unity project with a new name , no work on it whatsoever.

Sorry but have to disagree. That 100$ is not stopping the hacks.
The vote groups doing it for steam cards get the games on the stores.
And that 100 is a one time thing , so people can flood garbage after they pay it. Not hard to get , think there was a system that would keep your games open till you got all the cards , so use that , sell the cards on the marketplace, and there you go.

Civilization VI released for Linux, video and port report (updated)
9 Feb 2017 at 9:43 pm UTC

Ok , so I bought this to support Linux games.
But for some reason cant get it to start.
AMD FX-8350/Nvidia GTX770.

Funny thing is Civ 5 also fails to start. I can start that from CLI but this game throws an error saying i need the steam client. depsite the fact the steam client is open and i am logged on :(

Anybody else have any issues ?

Are you doing single or multi Hearts of Iron 4 ? Just curios.

Game creation kit 'Construct 3' has a first preview, including shots of it on Linux

Quoting: FishticonI WAS excited for this but now it just seems like the web-based GDevelop app; which is already there, free, and great.
I don't even see how this is different, other than it costs money and doesn't have a desktop app.
Any time I've tried GDevelop it was gosh darn terrible. The guys at Scirra actually have people making fully-fledged commercial games with Construct 2. It's actually a very good and powerful tool with a good interface. Construct 3 seems to be even better, and we get support, so what's not to love?
What about Godot mate ?
FOSS :)
