Quoting: scaineWell, thanks to g000h, I discovered that the Fate Hunters devs have moved on from the publisher they used for that game and they... recreated Fate Hunters under a new title called Dreamgate. So I bought that on Saturday and played a few hours. Great game, but still a bit rough around the edges in terms of balance. It's basically a Fate Hunters reskin at the moment, but they have plans to extend it significantly.

Played a bit of 7 Days to Die on stream with Sin and Ehvis. That was fun. And thanks to Sin, I'm also now playing Terraria again! So much depth to that game, it's actually kind of overwhelming.

Finally, I finished Starcom Nexus. At least, it's as finished as I care to play. Great game, fun space battles, but the lack of a useful map makes the final 5 hours or so a bit of a grind and frankly, I gave up caring to play on, although I still had some un-finished missions. Recommended, but it's shame about that final quarter.
But wait , there's more
If you haven't already , check out Thorium and Tremor mods for Terraria
They both add new enemies , NPCs , items and biomes.
And I think they work together to boot.
:P

I have been palying Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning with Proton.
Works flawlessly . Only had the graphics bug out once.

The game can be be described as a single player MMO.
Finished one of the DLCs today and that last boss made me swear so loud i think neighbours three floors down heard me.

I like the look and feel of it.

@Liam - do you know if current build is completable ? Or are bugs to be expected in the main quest as well ?

This is a decent gamign experiment if nothing else.
I'm curios how Liam's Journal will look by 2021.

March - Coronavirus spreading to Europe. Still waiting on the crystals
April - UK under quarantine. Shade can now drop down moss area , found a new cave
June - World economy drops 10 points , I found a new tunnel
September - Flights canceled worldwide , shade can now finish his painting
November - Hostilities grow in Asia and Middle-East , shade can now explore a shaft
January - World War 3 starts , Liam finishes The Longing

There is also the question of requiring Internet connection to play it (may be to check real time value?). If it at least works with regular ntp - it's fine. But if it relies on some specific server - it's a problem potentially.
Well , if it's not DRM , won't be an issue.
I mean , my humble guess is an NTP server won't be THAT hard to reverse engineer.
Still might make for some funny results if the server does go down. :D

Scared to ask if that GIF is on loop or if it's just tens of hours long.

I like the aesthetics and idea
What bothers me is you explore the world just through the map and the cities just through text boxes.
I kind of prefer it when I can just walk around the world and see all the cities and NPCs within. Makes it feel more immersive.

Quoting: Purple Library GuySo for instance, you see claims that lots of people in the third world who used to be poor no longer are, because they were not before, and are now, making more than $2/day. Generally not much more. The problem is that a whole lot of those people used to be subsistence farmers, who didn't really make any money but could feed and clothe themselves, who were then thrown off their little plots of land by the wonders of foreign direct investment by agribusinesses combined with corrupt local authorities. Then they had to move to some horrible slum with no access to clean water and find some way to earn money, and are now half-starved, dirty and disease-ridden on $2.50 a day. So according to the statistics, they've been "raised out of poverty", but in fact they're far worse off than they were. This is a major reason third world cities are ballooning in size--so many farmers thrown off their land so that foreigners can raise export crops. It's a horror story that gets dressed up as a success story, and there are many more, along with a lot of cherry-picking and massaging of statistics.

Curios about this .
Dol you have any source to back this up as something happening globally in all third world countries ?
Or is this a specific example in a country you know/live in ?
