The demo or Prologue or whatever it was seemed pretty decent
May just get the full version
The monsters did feel a bit weak at first with some heroes just casting a spell to put your archers to the front while a knight insta killed them. Hope that can be avoided in the future release.

Psyonix are ending support for Rocket League on both Linux and macOS (updated)

Also as some have pointed out , if they implement Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) you can consider it dead. That cannot be run on Linux and attempts to do so may be seen as cheating and land you a ban.
Refund and if it works with Proton later get it back on a sale.
Only bad part you can only refund base game , not DLC and other stuff you may have bought.

Quoting: ExpalphalogAs someone who knows little-to-nothing about the "under the hood" parts of Linux, how likely is this to be working on Steam Play in the future? It's the only cross-platform game that my friends on the other side of the country play together and I would rather keep playing with them than get a refund. Not sure about DX11 and how well wine works with that.
However, if the outlook is not good, I would rather get my refund now then wait. Rip the band-aid off, as it were.

Quoting: SunburstOoops , missed thatQuoting: razing32Humm after starting the download a lot of these are tools not supported on Linux :(Yes, it was mentioned on the article.
Of course, not necessarily all the courses will be related to Linux, and there is certainly a chance that some of the contents are already outdated, but still you might be able to find something interesting or useful, even more if you can't afford to spend too much money right now.

Someone really wants to milk some cash and cut some costs.
Can't say I haven't seen bigger publishers/franchises fall.

Quoting: PikoloDid not know about the PS4Quoting: razing32This feels like a canary in the coal mine in some way.I think the last patch added Steam Remote Play together support, so you will still be able to play with friends against bots. Not as fun as online multiplayer, but something. In March RL on Linux will end up in the same situation as on PS4 - you only have local single and multiplayer. On PS4 you'd have to pay for a PS subscription to play multiplayer, but I don't see people doing that.
All of the warnings about centralized servers , no LAN or private servers , etc.
Seems this can hit any game any time
And for the people mentioning Tencent , they are still spreading their web of "transactions" and "aquisitions"
I miss the old days.
Game was released (maybe had a patch later), focus was single player , you had LAN and could play with private servers.
Now games are online , focus is multiplayer and publishers decide how the game is played and it is on their whim what will happen next.
