Well we went from catgirls to pidgeons , earh chan , blood cell chan , ebola chan and now fridge chan.
Pretty sure there was one where you dated Panzers as well. (Let me know if you want to date a churchill live on stream Liam - will gift it to you)
Guess household appliances are hardly pushing it by this point ....

Quoting: Whitewolfe80LOLQuoting: razing32Kind of sad GOG is taking a hit.Could be worse if you lived in the UK you have to pay the government to own a tv in your home every year and youtube counts as tv it didnt originally but it does now because it can be watched live. But yeah it is true the exclusive shows is the only way to get you stay and in some cases you end up paying nearly as much as cable/sky to make sure you dont miss anything.
The gaming market is hitting the same issue as online streaming.
Movie streaming replaced TV but then so many streaming services showed up that it became just like TV.
These online games stores are going in the same direction.
We had Steam and GOG. And all games were easy to get on one of two platforms.
Now the stores are multiplying and exclusives are forcing people to choose or end up with a miriad of accounts.

I saw a short on Discovery i think a while back where they used a part of grey matter from a rat and thought it to fly a plane in a simulator. Just brain cells , not even a full brain.

Quoting: EikeIf that's not clickbait i want that article.Quoting: razing32Actually I've heard it's possible to extend the "RAM" of rats with flash memory. When you remove it, they forget what you taught them, and when you reattach it, they know it again. Amazing...Quoting: EikeI fear I just don't have a memory area in my brain for such information... X)Download more RAM :P

Quoting: Purple Library GuyIncidentally, a little known piece of context about the Terror: It didn't actually execute more people than were normally executed in France before the revolution. The pre-revolution French state killed a lot of people, usually in ways that were a whole lot more gruesome and painful than the guillotine. Basically torturing to death as judicial penalty. It's seen as such a huge deal because the people killed during the Terror were important people instead of being mostly peasants and the urban underclass, and because they were killed for political reasons instead of for, say, stealing a loaf of bread or not paying their taxes or annoying somebody higher status or whatever.Ok , I am almost about to put money on the fact that you are a history major.
Which isn't to say the Terror wasn't real. There is a definite difference between something like the Terror and the state killing people as part of the normal operation of the machine, just sort of grinding off bits of humanity that grit the gears--people don't like that, but they know the score: If you're poor, and you're trying to make a living by whatever means necessary, you run certain risks. If you're a peasant, and your local noble is an asshole (as most of them were), you run certain risks. It was the game as they knew it. The thing about the Terror is it changed all the rules, and people who had previously assumed themselves to be safe, people who had previously assumed the state was more or less on their side, could suddenly be killed for things that had been perfectly OK, even the basis of respectability, a year ago. That's going to lead to some fear and paranoia. It's just that people tend to think of the Terror in terms of unprecedented numbers killed, and it totally wasn't that.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyFair enough i suppose.Quoting: ShmerlI think it's at least partly that they're assuming if you don't already know what Axis & Allies is, you're not likely to buy it. The audience for this is fans.Quoting: razing32I hate trailers that tell me nothing of the game. :-|Yeah, that was weird. But may be they don't even know how it will look since it's in the very early design phase? They only announced the project, not some release or anything the like.
