We do seem to be getting a lot of point and clicks recently.
Wondering if the devs are more open to linux or if it is the engines they are using ?

Dealing with all sorts of amusing illnesses in Two Point Hospital, my thoughts

Hum
Kinda disappointed they did not release a free play mode.
Hope that and an editor get patched in later.
Curios if it will support mods and such.
In any case will keep my eye on it.

inXile will be 'all hands are on deck' to get the Linux version of The Bard's Tale IV out as soon as possible

Quoting: slaapliedjeI backed Bard's Tale IV already, but threw it on my wishlist, if theyre' going to start adding stuff to it, that's just awesome! I posted in another thread that Brian Fargo had marked 5 boxes of the collector's edition that he signed with an X and the lucky people who get those will get all inXile's games for life. I'll have to say he's a pretty awesome guy. If you look at his history of games, there's some seriously huge hits that came from him (like Wasteland/Fallout).
Yeah. Funny how we were talking about this just a few days ago on another thread.

Combat is about to get a lot more interesting in Hand of Fate 2

Quoting: Nanobang"Action RPG" Sounds great! "Rogue-like" Uhhh ... "Card Game" Ah, yes. That's why I gave this a pass. But looking at it again, maybe I was a bit too hasty. (Board games and card games leave me a bit flat in real life, let alone on a computer). Ok, I'll wishlist HoF (or HoF2. Which do ya'll think is better?) and pick it up when it goes on sale.
Depends.
The core mechanic is the same.
You explore a randomly generated world. You have events where you draw cards for success or failure.
You build a deck of cards for your adventure and hazards you might encounter.
Haven't played the second one too much but it added a couple more mechanics for success in events.
Combat is similar to the Batman Arkham games where you have to get in rhythm with the enemies and dodge/block at the right time.
If you are really unsure , pick the cheapest on sale , minimize your losses ;-)

Actually Valve gave an end to the illegal criminal skin gambling fiesta scheme that has been plaguing the game for years, with that, a lot of illegal criminal skin gamblers dropped the game this year, with one of them ending his life while taking innocent victims with him in a car "accident" earlier this week.
Well, this got dark, but it is what it is, you can Google it if you want.
Clamping down on the trade might explain it.
Can't say I'm sorry to see that group go,

Yeah, I've gotten to a point where I have so many games I don't know what to play anymore. I think I'm going to try to concentrate on playing BT1. Never got around to beating it when it originally came out, and we should be getting BT4 soon-ish.
Colour me curios. What's "BT" ?
