GTA V would be nice, it's so boring waiting for wine to improve

Quoting: 1xokCould it be there is no PPA release (https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu) for 2.22 because of Wine 3.0?

I am curious to see if 3.0 changes the performance and graphic errors of GTA V.

Anyway, Wine is a great thing.
For me it doesn't launch without staging

It doesn't work for me, it says "Preparing to launch %game%" for a while, then "An error occured while updating (app configuration unavailable)"

Whats wrong with it atm? is there a DRM issue with rockstar club thing?
  • No video, only audio (needs workaround)

  • Glitchy shadows

  • Bad performance

  • Even more graphical issues with DX11 or without CSMT

I'm not sure about social club, I have the latest version cracked and it works fine

The title is kind of misleading, it makes it sound like the game might not get released and if it does it will only be on linux

Wine Staging 2.11 released with GTA 5 and The Witcher 3 fixes, also improved Unity game support

Yup, the keyboard issue in GTA V is gone but other than that it's still the glitchy and slow mess it's always been since it was first launchable. I have an nvidia card and I never heard of this -GPUCount 1 thing before though

Need.... Patience........... 0.0

edit: also, anyone who has newer versions of the game can't launch it due to DRM, delete the "update" folder from the game's root and play offline or install a crack

Any progress with GTAV in this Release? Does it even launch or do we have to wait for staging to catch up again?
