Hi Seamoose,
Thank you very much for that report! It sounds like the game is quite stable for most Linux set-ups.

Hi Ehvis,
Oh sorry - I should have realised when you posted that you had played the game! Glad you got it sorted.
That just leaves these two issues:
[1] The mouse issue - as reported by WorMzy - which may be caused by the "Windows Manager" being used. If anyone could provide feedback that would be great.
[2] Not starting at all (for Leopard) - not sure about this one. Can you provide any more info?
Thanks,
DDG

Thank you all for the comments. It sounds like there are 3 issues that people have run into:
[1] The game didn't install for Ehvis - [EDIT: all sorted now]
[2] The mouse issue - as reported by WorMzy - which may be caused by the "Windows Manager" being used. If anyone could provide feedback that would be great.
[3] Not starting at all (for Leopard) - not sure about this one. Can you provide any more info?
Also, thanks to your feedback, the following will definitely be added in a future update:
a) The VSync will be turned back on
b) Ability to remap keys
c) 4 Player Mode
d) Menu will be improved

We've seen this problem regarding the mouse too. We Googled to see if anyone else had seen anything like this in Unity and funnily enough, one of the top results is to this very site:
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/have-mouse-problems-in-unity3d-games-on-linux-see-here-for-fixes.3377
It talks about using a different windows manager. Since this is all new to us we would love it if someone who knows more about this sort of thing could offer some advice on the subject?

Can you try restarting Steam and see if that forces it to download the game?
That is something we plan to add! ;)

Quoting: EhvisIt won't install for me. If I click install, it doesn't give me a size. Then finishes instantly, but leaves only an empty directory. And I could also read and select the correct branch.Hi Ehvis,
Can you try restarting Steam and see if that forces it to download the game?
Quoting: GuestIt would be neat if the game had a 4-player mode, for couch (beer) gaming :)Hi hateball (great name by the way, very relevant to Impossiball)

Hi!
Firstly - thanks to all of you for testing the game for us and letting us know if it runs OK on Linux. We have installed a machine with Ubuntu but, since we are very new to Linux, we needed some expert help for compatibility testing...and testing in general!
Feel free to leave feedback here or on the Steam community page. Also, as Liam mentioned, we would really appreciate your reviews for the game as they are so important to help get the game noticed. We welcome all feedback and will address any and all issues.
Thanks again!
Rich

Quoting: jordicomaI runs without touching anything. It's already a first step. It's a really simple game made with unity (has a big unity logo). For the first look they should improve the menus. They are really simple.Indeed, the current menu system is just place-holder until all the game modes are finalised. It will be one of the last things we tackle before moving out of Early Access and into Full Release.
