Man, I remember when we spoke about it in may... Now we're sure, we'll never see the Linux version on GOG.
And it's the same for the macOS version, missing on GOG.
I'm happy that I didn't buy it yet.

I really need to make a list about respectful devs/publishers and those who are not...

In the other hand, I think that GOG should take action on this subject, if a Linux/macOS version is out somewhere by the same guys then they would have to release them on GOG as well.
And I'm tired of these "No ETA", no ETA my ass!

I can only speak for myself in this case.
I have my current Nvidia GTX 780 for many years, at that time I was only on Windows, I built my PC for that purpose.
But you can see buying a new GPU is expensive, especially if the urrent one is still working, should I throw it out?
I don't think so, we already waste so much resources...

I agree proprietary driver is shit, but right now I can't/don't want to buy another graphics card.
Maybe at least I'll switch to the open source driver soon, even if the performances are not great.

With the "for the sake of it" comment I was refering to a case of "I will only buy on gog because I want it DRM-free" but it IS DRM-free on Steam since forever. This ignorance and "for the sake of it" attitude made me a little angry.
I have not a single bad thought about gog.

It's so much effort for me and I want to spend that time doing other things
I hope you understand
on steam linux sales are just 1% of windows sales
and gog is like a few % of steam.

So why even release the game on GOG in the first place?! Damn.
Right now I'm a bit tired of this, they won't see my money.
But let's be clear, if he finally manage to release the Linux version on GOG I'll be happy to buy it (even if the Windows version is better, and maybe the Linux port will be optimized one day...)!

And I hope he'll doing well with the Supraland 2 KS campaign as he promised it both on GOG and Linux...

Also this link [External Link] speaks for itself.

I don't have Punch Club or Party Hard (but I have Graveyard Keeper), but I count on Linux users to inform the community if they will really update them.

These issues around GOG publishers, missing things, huge delays etc... I'm thinking of just boycotting them now and they won't have my money. Simple as that.

2) From Wishlists and general community engagement and traffic we've had from our Kickstarter to Discord, Linux has represented at minimum 5x the users. There aren't that many Mac gamers, and one thing I get from other devs is that they don't open their wallets as much either.

I talk to a lot of other developers who say "How are you getting hundreds of wishlists on Linux?" and I say "you're not?" and they say "no!" -- "Well, are you building for Linux?" "...no" - "Maybe that's why you're not getting the engagement then."

I'll buy it on GOG for sure!
