Personally, I don't see a problem in having the Linux version separate from the Windows version (I will always try to buy the Linux one anyway), although the Steamplay feature is awesome from a consumer point of view. However, I do think that people with the Windows version should get a price cut for an upgrade.
The awesome looking FPS 'STRAFE' has been delayed, with no set Linux release date now

I think we could say Leopard was really unfortunate in using the words "real gaming"...

Quoting: themixturemediaI have also not received a single steam hardware survey since I have migrated to Linux only. And I have installed Steam for Linux quite a few times...Quoting: TuxeeIt would be nice if I got a steam surrey I have not got one in months. I have not got one on my daughters computer on steam either.Quoting: LeopardYep,if this user share won't change i'm afraid eventually we will migrate to Windows again.Good riddance. I suppose people (like me) use Linux based operating systems not only because of a certain market share on Steam.
So, I played... Black Mesa

I have bought this game to support its development as well. I'm still waiting for Xen to play it in its totality. Hopefully it won't be long now.
What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

On Linux, I have just finished Starbound, with some 48 hours behind it. Fun game, I just wish it had more story in it.
I have also finished Shovel Knight, probably the best of the (not) old retro platformers...
Right now I am playing Dragon Age: Origins in Wine, really fun game, highly recommended, performance somewhat okay. I'm also playing Batman: Arkham Knight on the XB1 (yeah, I got it really cheap before my Linux conversion, don't have the money now to make the switch to PS4). This Batman really surprised me in a bad way. I thought I would like it, but now I am considering not playing to the end. It just seems more of the same to me.

Quoting: DrakkerThe title music of this game is really remarkable. The games are currently waiting for their turn in my Steam library, but I recall the music just from seeing my brother firing up the game on his laptop.Quoting: EikeAlready loved it when I heard the title music (again). :)That title theme is amazing. Before I got the soundtrack I'd start the game and let it on the title screen just to listen to it. ;)
I finally completed Half-Life 2 on Linux and it was quite the experience

Quoting: MarkyI still recommend playing the episodes though, since they are great. The last hour or so of episode 2 is my favourite part of the whole series.I second that. The last part of episode 2 is surely one of the best sections of a game. And that end ...

Bought it day one as promised. So far it seems an excellent game. I only had time to play it today since my network card wasn't functioning properly. I will give a more thorough look at it tonight.
