The Steam Game Festival Summer Edition is over, here's our round-up

I'm more inclined to buy a game if I can play the demo of it first.
Otherwise I'm more reluctant to go through the process of Steam Refunds, which if you do too many times can get you a ban from refunding games in future.
Got quite a few games I plan on buying when they come out, had they no demo available, probably wouldn't have had any more than I did prior to the event.

Quoting: ZeloxWhy once a year. Demos should be something you always should have available. I preferred summer sale :P. Or atleast let me try the game for free for 20-45 minDevelopers loss.

Tallowmere 2 could be my next favourite dungeon-crawling action platformer

Tallowmere is a pretty good game, underrated too I might add.
Looking forward to the 2nd one, though I didn't particularly put many hours into the first.

Quoting: KithopBut yeah, on Android, get F-Droid, get Fennec (Firefox) from it, put uBlock Origin in, and don't ever use the built-in Chromium-based stuff ever again. When Google lets you install extensions on Chrome for Android, then maybe that'll at least get a pass, but despite their corporate flaws, Mozilla's still the way to go, IMO. Even if you'd rather a spinoff/de-branded/sanitized versionTo be fair, there's system-wide applications that'd take care of ads in browser, and other applications.

Microsoft is the very reason I moved to Linux.
Open source or not, using Edge isn't on the cards for me, even if it uses what Firefox does instead of Chromium framework.
That and the UI is... meh.

Woo, about time.
If they keep to their previous statements, NPC survivors should start getting worked on once this stuff is on the stable branch.
I really look forward to that!

It looks like Tactical Ops, which actually is what this game is inspired by.

Quoting: 14Why did they make this game? Graphics, animations, gameplay, even the text in the game look exactly like Counter-Strike.Not really.

I like their games, going to try the demo out later.
Hopefully it doesn't feel like the exact same thing as Zombasite.

If they deliver when they finally release it (I'd imagine they'll release on Steam...) then I feel like The Isle is going to get effected so much.
Definitely a game to keep an eye on me thinks!

Amazing. Hope more developers start doing the same.
I personally won't put money into kickstarter/patreon for games, because I'd rather buy it on Steam and refund if I don't like it. Though if other developers start doing it, maybe I'd be more inclined (even if it's just 1:1)
