Quoting: KristianJust look at what they did with The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition. Also they support mod tools. I am a huge advocate for mod tools. So for reasons like that I would say that the GOG situation is complicated. But overall I still very much consider them good guys. I just have some pessimistic tendencies and I am going overboard NOT to get too excited. What did they do with Witcher2?
Call it 3D Realms forums regular syndrome if you want... all those years hearing magazines hype their next cover followed by people in the DNF forums starting threads speculating that it wold be DNF(Which I ended up enjoying as one of only three FPS games I have completed from beginning to end(What can I say, I suck as a gamer), the others being Quake 1 and Bioshock Infinite).

Im extremely happy about this. Was just wishing the other day that I could play this game on my desktop. Hope we get the first one too. Since the Mac and Linux depots are visible in the steam db, I assume that we got linux because of the mac port. I couldnt imagine a company saying to port to linux and not mac, wouldnt make sense. I hope other game companies just start making cross platform games from the start. Now I just need Rage and Bioshock and ill have all of my favorite FPS games in linux. Practically every FPS shooter that I played growing up works in linux. :) So happy about this.

Quoting: Lord AvallonYes I didnt mean it as an insult when I said its childish. I bought the game in the humble bundle, I prefer to play it on android as its a rather good touchscreen game.Quoting: SoltrummanToki Tori 2+, RUSH and EDGE are also confirmed for Linux on Steam by Two Tribes:Yes, this is great news (I don´t need to use Wine with them anymore)! Don´t get fooled by the "children´s look" of this game, it´s very, very challenging, fun and addictive, I totally recommend it!
