I noticed Aspyr has Duke Nukem Forever in its back-catalogue. Not that it would happen, but wouldn't it be amusing if DNF ever showed up on Linux? :P

Icculus did also work on Dungeons of Dredmor, and while the port was decent, the game was and is still buggy as hell. Not enough to stop me from playing it over and over again though.

While I am sure this hiccup with Ryan can be resolved, I just thought I would share that I have just discovered that Alternative Games are not only still in business, but are actually quite active considering they have been behind the ports of Klei Entertainment's games for the past few years:

The last I head from them was only about their work on the Frozenbyte titles, which are now being handled in-house directly by the developer. Worse comes to worse maybe RWS could try talking to them.

Is the problem really just that he has simply fallen out of contact with you? If so maybe just the press on this issue might help sort things out.

Regardless, I really do hope you get this situation resolved, as I have been looking forward to these updates for a long time. I am perfectly fine with being patient, and I respect your efforts immensely, but I do of course want to actually be able play with these at one point or another. Best of luck in getting this fixed.

Thankfully, as Toploader mentioned, things like UE4 supporting Linux from the get go should help iron out some of these issues.

At any rate, it really has been way too hot here to play any games, which is a problem given my backlog. I am currently playing through the full Amnesia series since I recently purchased AMFP, but so far have only gotten through the first Amnesia campaign again. I still have Justine to go through, and then I need to get to AMFP which still remains uninstalled despite the fact it is shown on my desktop wallpapers.

Other than that, I played through and finished LIMBO as soon as the native Linux version came out, and I have been on and off messing around with FTL: Faster Than Light. I should probably just get around to trying out some of the new expansion content given the fact that I now have basically given up on defeating the mothership; if anyone is going to do it then it will be my older brother who I got hooked on the game. I myself still kind of prefer Dungeons of Dredmor if I want to mess around in a rougelike though.

Then of course there are my usual standbys, matches of Quake III Arena in which I currently have over 17300 recorded frags, and the occasional game of Blood and Blood II through DOSBox or WINE respectively.

It does not make a great difference. Most of Klei Entertainment's games were published by Microsoft as well, and we still got Linux ports of those.
