Definitely not on December 25th, though. Can you say "co-opt the pagan celebrations"?

Glad to hear they are finally fixing the shopping cart so it's tied to your account instead of your session.

QuoteIt's quite limited in the selection of available titles though, since they can only put up games that are verified to be either Shareware, Freeware, Demos or games that were made public domain.
I'm rather surprised to see that original Warcraft is apparently in this category.

Shareware demos were a huge part of gaming in those days.

Here's the most played Steam Deck games for November 2023

Quoting: CatKillerJust finished GTA Batman and now I'm playing Crowns And Pawns.

I loved the earlier Arkham games, but I could never get into games with a lot of driving (like GTA), so haven't delved into Arkham Knight much. Is driving the Batmobile required for a lot of the game?

Also curious about Crowns and Pawns; at one point the reviews seemed a bit mixed, although they look fairly solid now. How does it compare to something like the Broken Sword series?

But to answer the question at hand: I've been playing Disco Elysium. The art style put me off a little at first, and it's quite text-heavy at times, but the story and writing have definitely kept it interesting.

It is pretty awesome that Valve devotes time to fixing non-Steam games too.

SteamOS 3.5.3 Preview fixes LCD issues, plus Steam Deck / Desktop Beta adds HDR info

Love the Dynamic Collections feature; using that shows me I only have 7 games tagged as having HDR support. I don't have an HDR monitor, so it's just a curiosity at this point, but it will be interesting to see if/how much this increases now that Steam is surfacing it more directly, and the new Steam Deck supports it.

Edit: I'm also curious to see if Valve adds HDR support to their own games.

Slay the Princess, or don't - you probably shouldn't but you can play it now

QuoteSadly they've had issues publishing the full version on itch.io, as they were told it's too big to be hosted there.

itch.io has a size limit, and a visual novel is too big?

Why have just one, when you can have two? Article updated.

Get Alan Wake, Pathologic 2, STASIS: BONE TOTEM and more in this bundle
14 October 2023 at 5:00 am UTC

They did a remaster of Alan Wake a couple years ago, but it's still an EGS exclusive.

Looks like Alan Wake 2 is getting the same treatment, but since it's a new game, hopefully sales will be lousy enough that the exclusivity won't last. Or maybe it will, if Epic funded the development:

Also, disappointed that Stasis: Bone Totem still hasn't gotten a native Linux build. They said they would try to get it done soon after release, but maybe didn't bother once it got Steam Deck Verified.
