The Native Linux app for NVIDIA GeForce NOW is now in Beta

Quoting: TheRealSpesch@Liam On Bazzite, after about 2 minutes the error message “Problem detected” appears and you can just close the app. However, if you start a game session quickly enough, you can dismiss the message with CTRL+G and the stream continues to run normally. Do you also get this error message on Fedora?
I also get this on Bazzite. From what I've read, it's not unique to Bazzite, though. On Reddit, I saw another report it on CachyOS.

Does anyone have a fix for the gyro aiming on this controller when using Bluetooth on a steam deck?

Quoting: officerniceDrives me nuts that the thumb sticks are never next to each other ... Anybody got a good recommendation that's more akin to a PS controller but with "xbox" prompts for PC gaming? My brain refuses to translate PS and Xbox prompts #feelsold xD
The GameSir Tarantula Pro might be up your alley. The dpad is terrible for fighting games, but the controller is pretty good in all other ways.

I'll still be getting one of these Horipads, because I really want the Steam Input customization with gyro support.

I'm definitely real. But yes, look out for scammers. Didn't think we'd have to deal with that on Steam.

I would definitely appreciate an invite to this game. The more I read about it, the more I want to play it.

Proton Experimental gets fixes for EA Launcher, Starfield: Creation Kit, The Finals

Is anyone able to get Starfield running? It crashes on loading a game ever since the Creation Kit update. This happens on both my Steam Deck as well as my main PC. Hell, on my main PC, it sometimes borks the entire Wayland session and a restart is usually necessary (I was able to recover it once). This is on Arch Linux with the latest version of KDE Plasma.

Surreal Engine is an open source reimplementation of Unreal Engine for classic games

Quoting: Talon1024Ooooh, interesting!

Good thing I still have Unreal Gold, Unreal 2, and Unreal Tournament on my GOG.com account. Seeing this makes me wonder if it will ever be possible to play Rune [External Link] on this engine.

And speaking of Rune, the developers announced a new game in the series [External Link] years ago, but it seems like nothing has come of it.
So, Rune II was released. But it has also been delisted. Not sure what happened, but it seems that no one really enjoyed this version.

Steam Deck Beta and SteamOS Preview fix up some annoying issues

For anyone stuck with the library loading, power down your deck and try removing your SD card. For me, this allowed me to boot normally and then I was able to roll back to stable.

Steam Deck - SteamOS 3.5.9 Preview 'Well Paced Edition' brings more fixes

Stuck on "Loading library data..." for me. It can boot into the desktop just fine, but I don't know how to roll back to the stable release.

Update: The update was not liking my SD card. I needed to boot the steam deck without the SD card. After that, I could then roll back to stable without any data loss.
