Quoting: wintermuteI recently stopped using regular Opera on EndeavourOS because video playback stopped working properly. Does the gaming version require the same codec workarounds? If your distro supports snap packages the snap version of normal Opera comes with all the codecs built in so video playback has always worked

Quoting: KapelliniI've heard a lot about this browser, and it's usually people citing privacy concerns. Is there any substantiated evidence about this browser mishandling/misusing/etc user data? I did a cursory search online and while I can't find a lot, that doesn't mean it isn't there. I'm easily won over by extensive customisation but I've been staying away from this browser due to it's reputation, and because my interest is often inversely proportional to the amount of effort put into advertisement and sponsorships. I was disappointed when CachyOS deprecated their browser, so I've been using Floorp since.as a European company they have to abide by GDPR even if they are owned by a Chinese one.

Surely all they need is new tab / pop-up on a browser update to say: " would you like new AI features enabled?" (yes or no)

Wasn’t the social features what made games like this? Very much like the Forza Horizon series if you take away the social online content like leaderboards and actual competitive racing the game wouldn’t be really that great.
Which is why true offline racing games like Ridge Racer, BurnOut, Split/Second (to name just a few) will always be better being preserved

it's a shame gamers feel the need to cheat, if cheaters didn't exist EA wouldn't feel the need to implement things like this.
I'll only be supporting EA again when they bring out the next BurnOut game. :)

Social games [like The Crew] do have the habit of being shut down as new games in a series get made which is a real pain, although licences for branded content don't normally last forever so it's understandable, which is one of the reasons why all the Forza games are not available in digital stores.
i do think the last year of a title new players thinking about buying a game should be aware on all storefronts of its impeding shutdown and said game should be heavily discounted.
