Quoting: monsieursauceWhat about Steam machines ? I cannot find a purchase page on Dell's Alienware website. I would have rather bought one Steam machine than a controller only. Why do people think the Steam Machines aren't being sold anymore? Where are you ? These are some links to the Alienware Steam Machine R2. Might be available in the US for now.

But the controller doesn't work in every game. They have yet to fix a Steam controller bug in Saints Row IV. Plus the part about it hatpic feedback is so pointless unless you are using Windows. It doesnt even work in Steam OS\linux. If I was a linux user I wouldn't buy this controlled.

Idk I don't trust devs talking about bringing their games to linux and doing nothing. Be honest with people.

It will never come to linux I suppose. They don't see us linux users as the type to buy their game. I bet it will come to MAC though.

All I know is that Valve was not ready to ship Steam OS. It is still not ready for a mass audience. It's a bit sad to see. It's very much unfinished like Android TV.

A hat in time please. They were having trouble with a linux version I believe.
Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

Looks like I won't be supporting GOG again. Whatever and you keep your stupid client on windows. The steam client is 100% better.

This type behavior is very common in the gaming industry. Wasn't Nvidia hyping Android TV for gaming? Yea look how that turned out. It was just a little side project they hoped would break into everyone's living home.
I said this before this but it feels like Steam OS was never fully supported either. Instead it's Valve's backup plan in case they are locked out of the windows operating system. Once that happens then Steam OS will get Valve's full attention. We need a company that will take linux gaming seriously.
