Wow, this is pretty awesome!
I remember trying this kind of thing when I was a student (oh dear, two whole decades ago, getting old...) and failing miserably. I did get some success with procedural textures, and had a few 64k demos, but audio was always the thing I really struggled with.
The other thought I had was, Godot needs to enable supporting people with valuable addons to receive money for their work.
It is just about there with the required level of maturity.

I learnt that the best thing you can do for your kids is to keep them happy, curious, and value that they are different (and other people are too). Stress & expectations is such a performance killer, and us older parents are stressed by so many expectations :-(
I remember the stuff I did at a similar age, and it was honestly much more hardcore than the boring work I do now...

This is probably one of the advantages of living in a less developed country.
Nature still comes into our house, and the kids find it fascinating.
We even had a squirrel jump between trees, and miss right in front of us.
This was a good lesson on gravity.
And that falling from heights knocks your breath out.
And, most importantly, that squirrels are terrified of toddlers trying to pick it up!

I tried this on my Intel notebook, and OpenGL runs terribly, but vulkan runs much better.
Both crash at repeatable places in the benchmark, (but different for each renderer).
It can even hang my system if I set it to high quality.

The original Xen definitely had laboratories on there.
And this looks really good. It has me excited, as the original Xen was by far the worst part of HL1.

Proton beta 3.16-2 is out for Valve's Steam Play system

Proton 3.16-1 severely regressed on my Intel IGP 620.
Skyrim (non se) ran quite horribly, no glitches, just terrible performance.
At least downgrading to 3.7-8 resolved all the issues.
When I get time I'll try and see if 3.16-2 (or newer by then) fixes the issues.

I have to agree that Doom3 and Quake4 was a bit ahead of their times.
After playing Mass Effect (I think it was 2) I played Doom3 for the first time, and not only had a blast, but had to say that it looked no worse, and had early versions of all the same gameplay elements.
I really liked the atmosphere of Doom3 in particular.

I have to agree cRaZy-bisCuiT, I'm using Linux as my daily driver because I prefer it, and I severely dislike the idiotic politics around windows, and I can't bring myself to trust any large corporation (they have repeatedly shown they cannot be trusted) so will not go back to windows.
I don't care if there is some fancy new game that people rage about, I only care that I have good games to play every now and then, which I have ample of on Linux.
Heck, I'm gaming on a 5.5 year old laptop with AMD graphics, and strangely all the games I try work fine on it.

So I have a AMD Firepro M4000 in my motebook, which is pretty much identical to the AMD Radeon 7770M.
Neither of those are in the database.
