Hmm? If I buy a game from linux steam client, I don't see why they would consider it was for windows or mac.
I mean, if it were based on available pateforms of the game at a certain time that wouldn't make much sense, especially because it can have several available plateforms at the same time.

Sure you put yourself in danger if you trust, but that's human. And it helps developpers, and that seems to be a lil bit extrem to deprive help to every developpers because few of them don't keep their promise.
I restrict myself, I don't preorder many things, but I had the feeling that I could trust him based on his replies on steam community forum.
So, indeed, if there is no port, I should blame myself for trusting him, but in the same time no more money from me will go in his pocket. And if I really want to play his game, I'll just crack it and play it on wine.

Well personnally I won't buy any other game of him if he doesn't release Stanley Parable.
I bought it because I have trusted him, I undertsand that he got annoyed by some linux users, but they don't represent me and many others, I paid for the game based on trust and didn't complain about how much time it would take him to port the game, so now if I don't see a port and therefore wasted my money, I'll just feel betrayed.
I still have hope at the moment though.

Don't Starve Together To Get 'Reign Of Giants' As A Free Expansion Soon

I wait for don't starve together to be released so I don't have to pay for it since I already own don't starve.
But, this news is about reign of giants included with don't starve together right, not don't starve together being released.
Can't wait to play it in multi, but won't pay 20 more for it

Hi there,
I switched to Linux around 7 years ago.
At the time there were very few games on Linux, and I love games since I'm a kid.
So I managed with the games already present on Linux :)
Urban terror, Warsow, Heroes of Newerth, etc…
I didn't care, I loved open-source philosophy, not to the extrem as I don't mind using a few proprietary softwares, but still I loved the sharing and helpful ideas/community.
And then arrives humble bundle. I became a real fan of it. It was magic, they were bringing games to Linux, and along with a nice spirit (games for everybody, for the price you decide it's worth, DRM-free, support charity).
R.I.P humble bundle, they totally lost the spirit.
But there is gog now though
And I have been impressed how Valve managed and still manage to push gaming on Linux.
I have never thought Linux would run natively games we have right now, and I'm very happy about it.
So, no, I don't use dual boot, I was keeping a windows partition (in case) but I got ride of it when my hard drive got out of space with all those games :p
And I don't care anymore if Linux is adopted by many. That could spoil it.
I'm just enjoying gaming at the moment.
And you should too guys!
