Nice to see! sadly they still refuse to fix the slideshow wallpaper memory leak on Nvidia (X11 and Wayland)... and it's not nVidia's fault since it doesn't happen on Gnome.
Too much focus on novelty, too less on fixing.

KDE Plasma going all-in on Wayland and will drop the X11 session completely

The memory leak issue with slideshow wallpapers on Nvidia is still a thing, Plasma devs and Nvidia devs keep throwing the ball to each other and the issue is still going unfixed.
Forcing things before fixing things, I'd expect this with Micro$oft... not Linux.

Valve could update VAC to be server-side, AI-powered and give incentives to developers who opt to use it (like giving them a bigger cut of the sales)
Also you know what happens with VAC, so people with paid games on their accounts won't risk it.
They also could implement a cooldown timer so the same HWID cannot create throwaway accounts so quickly.

Sadly they don't accept bitcoin any alternative payment methods, I don't have any traditional banking so I'm excluded.
KDE has served me well during this 2 years since I became a full-time Linux user on my main rig and all but one of my extra PCs.
I'd gladly give them a few bucks out of gratitude.

Sadly, I guess at one point (maybe next year) Amazon will stop giving GOG/EGS codes and will only give you games to play on Luna.

I hope this fix comes in a point release of the 580 (last one for my beloved Pascal) but seeing how they are playing with timeframes, probably we won't get it.

If they figure out how to make Kernel-based anticheat to run on Linux (and be effective), it could be a real game changer, because they'll show it can be done.
