Lately it seems that GOG putting little more efforts in Linux on GOG. Bunch of new releases (like Dungeons 3), some old ports finally arrived too.

Quoting: DamonLinuxPLIt was several years ago, so i dont really remember, but i, 1) dont use steam 2) not purchased it in any other store. I think it was one of "rewards" for getting EXP on one of GOG big sales or something. Its not really matter why anyway.Quoting: KuromiYou can take it from GOG for free if u own Steam version. You can claim in on special page on GOG both TW1 and TW2. You need only serial number from steam. Maybe thats why u get it in 0 price.Quoting: DamonLinuxPLWitcher 2 on GOG for 1.65$ (on Steam 2,99$)Probably most of GOG customers already have it. It was on sales with big discount several times and i believe on some action it was possible to get it for free. At least in my order history its price is zero.

The Humble Down Under Bundle is a very good deal for Linux gamers

Some is legal reasons - for example Torchlight for a long time was DRM-free on Humble, not on GOG because of certain rights.
And...ugh, there is group of games which ports is absent for "no visible" reason. Tropico foe example and many other Kalypso media games.
There is good lists for that - https://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_have_native_linux_portselsewhere [External Link] and https://www.gog.com/mix/games_supporting_linux_on_steam_not_on_gog [External Link]
Very newest group is games absent "due lack of Galaxy for Linux".
Again, i specially want to point out that not all ports is absent for possible DRM reasons.

Quoting: Alm888Something doesn't add up. "Those games" have "DRM-free" versions for Windows™ (on GOG), yet no DRM-free (or… any, actually) version for Linux. How so?Easy. There is freaking lot of games on GOG which have linux version on Steam but not on GOG. Some is due developer laziness (its takes some effort to get ports of games released prior of Linux adoption on GOG) - this games slowly but steadily gets corresponding ports. For example recently Dust finally got Linux support. Vary late, but...sometimes you have to send bunch of mails to developer (if its indie) - its sometimes help.

And for Dungeons 2...a played it and somehow its feels kinda dull and shallow.

Quoting: stretch611As for the titles currently on sale... War for the Overlord is a Dungeon Keeper Clone... (Dungeons and Dungeons 2 are also Dungeon Keeper clones, and Dungeons 3 is being released on Friday the 13th this week.)Umm. let me correct you just a little - War for the Overlord is much more DK clone then Dungeons and Dungeons 2. Dungeons is more "wanna-be" Dk, while War for the Overlord is almost complete copy to some point - maps and campaign is, ofc, different, but mechanics almost similar to DK2 right to the point where its going awkward. If you looking for real DK2 restoration you need look for War for the Overlord

Looks like a Linux version of A Hat in Time might actually be coming

It was leaked a while ago by Virtual ProgrammingVirtual Programming? Thats not really good news for DRM-Free world. Last time i encountered them is when they made port for Overlord and tried to screw all existing customers. As usual, after shitstorm they "added OverLord for linux for all existing Steam customers", but then GOG users asked about port they simply refused to release it on GOG, albeit its same distributor on both Steam and GOG sell Overlord.
We Happy Few to release on Linux after the full release, not during Early Access

Dont wanna to be a Downer here, bu i strongly doubt there will be Linux release at all. Not much of hints coming about it from developers, but you now, first they say it wuill be in alpha, then they say it will after shortly release, then they say "we encountered problems" you have to wait and in the end they say "You know, we moving on to new game/this one sold out/linux is too hard/not enough of users outside windows" and similar stuff.
