Quoting: williamjcmHonestly, if Valve does make a Steam Controller 2 or similar, I hope they'll bring back the dual-stage triggers from the original. I really loved those, as I used the click at the end to enable gyro aiming. The dual stage triggers and back paddles made the sc perfect for 6dof games like everspace, they need to return
Meanwhile, the Steam Deck's triggers don't have that, and it saddens me.

I love that more linux tablets are coming out, but I still feel the ui is not ready yet when compared to ipad or samsung oneui. Maui shell and the gnome mobile shell seem promising (even if still a little lacking in some areas).
I like the aspect ratio, but with no pen and still developing apps, I can't think of much i'd use this for besides laptop stuff, which this isn't.
It still has a lot going for it though, so I see things getting really good in the future

the first everspace is a linear ftl roguelite style experience where you need to keep moving to the next zone.
everspace 2 is an open world game that has more focus on exploration, and i don't think is a roguelite.

I can confirm that rumble is working for me in dirt rally (kind of), but it’s still glitchy, and with my steam controller, it feels like I’m breaking it, so Im gonna leave it for for now. Can’t say that I don’t appreciate the option. Happy to see that valve is continuing to support Linux as a first class os

the game is really shaping up, and for a game meant for the browser, it's not half bad. With that being said, i still find problems with movement and lag, so if you were thinking of purchasing this game, i heavily recommend trying the free browser version first.
