I know it may not help you but I run Doom (2016) via Lutris, it installed and played flawlessly first try. Debian sid, KDE, nVidia. I used the install script from Lutris webpage. :)
(Didn't try Steam Play since Lutris worked perfectly.)

Vincere posted an update yesterday, yet another dev struggling with getting Linux version working. I'm not a fan of this trend, it shouldn't be that difficult... but it seems to be quite a challenge. :(

Having trouble getting a Linux build to work properly, trying to port to Linux is one of my many hats I'm wearing, and I wish it was going better/easier, but there's been some shader errors and other problems that I'm slowly working through as I try to patch other parts of the game as well.

Just putting a post here to say that I have a 1080Ti and my next card will not be nVidia. Also unlikely to upgrade in the near future.
Probably looking to the next-after-next AMD cards, but still keeping an eye on Intel. :)

Very rough Early Access title, no sound for me and crashes on exit. Still enjoyed its laid back gameplay and I hope it doesn't go hardcore tycoon with 5 gazillion micromanagment features. :)

I agree with you btw. Loot boxes is poison... :dizzy:
Anyway, making easy money is difficult (oh noes the pun!) unless you understand the basic core principle of humans; people are stupid. When you throw away scruples and ethics, exploiting this fact becomes a matter or having deep enough pockets to stuff the money into.
Is it wrong to design and/or provide a desirable, potentially addictive product, then extract monetary profit from it? Problematic subject considering how humans are inherently susceptible to addiction. :S:
Some governments (NL, BE) do take issue with these pseudo-gambling-esque mannerisms and ban/regulate them.

Really not into card games, still happy for Linux support!
Valve missed a golden opportunity here to troll the gaming world.
Imagine the SteamOS/Linux version being released a week earlier than the Windows version. Imagine the sadness/madness/badassness!
Imagine that becoming the gold standard for Valve releases; Linux first. :P
Or... HalfLife 3 - the world's first Linux exclusive AAA title! /runs away screaming :woot:
