Quick reminder about Native2Proton, if you want to force Steam to install the Windows version of a game rather than suffer a borked Linux port. Hopefully Proton can deal with it without fuss. :)

edit: Steam Play is a no go. Black screen when starting, probably can't play the stupid f**king intro videos so yet another WMP fiasco. There's no known way to remove them.

Quoting: Shmerlsome who use Proton but not Steam PlayI'm curious about how many people fit into this category. Not sure if it's worth the trouble to actually find out though.

Oh my, what is going on in this thread? ;)
Shmerl makes a good argument for separating 'Wine+derivatives' and 'Steam Play-Proton'. That should be fine.
Before making any changes though, I'd recommend taking a moment to think about the survey itself.
What sort of data are we collecting, and for what purpose? Is it illustrating meaningful stats in its current state?
For example, AMD drivers was mentioned. While an interesting topic in itself (to some at least), perhaps it's unnecessarily complicated to separate all the open source options, unless there's a valid reason to investigate the various drivers usage specifically.
I'm all for Keeping It Simple Sugarhoneybabycakes.

When was the last time you used Wine to play a Windows game?I think the answers here will be very different depending on how people interpret Wine to also include Proton. Perhaps rephrase, or add another question?
