I have doubts this concept survives meeting the player base. Servers gone within a year?
It'll be a challenge to keep the gameplay fresh for more than a few hours, if it's just going to be Serious Sams blasting away endless hordes on perpetual repeat. Then again, hardpenguin enjoyed the first two games in co-op... although they released more than two decades ago and the 'roguelite co-op shooter' scene has grown exponentially since then and the competition is fierce, not to mention players expect different things today. 🤔
If they cram non-cosmetic monetization into this, or even too much of those - RIP.

Should have bought DRG:S before the price increase in January 2025 ;)
FWIW DRG x DRG: Survivor bundle on Steam is currently ~64% off, two excellent games well worth it. 15€ instead of the regular 43 with both on sale and a bundle discount on top.

These games are worth full price anyway, both quite reasonably priced.
