Dying Light has a Left 4 Dead crossover event happening right now

It can run Dying Light with Proton/Vulkan, 720p lowest settings 20-25 fps... and this craptop is way below minimum spec.
Plenty of 'Can I run it' threads in the DL Steam forums if you want to check it out.

Quoting: seamooseI'm afraid my old rig won't run itYou'll do way better than my crotchety old AMD laptop with feeble A10 APU and GCN1 GPU. :)

Quoting: g000hI hope it is just a name-change and this doesn't mean my actual owned game has lost graphical fidelity or its "enhancedness".If you bought 'Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition' that is what you should own. AFAIK there hasn't been a name change. The game is still the game, the 'enhanced' part is simply a bundle with The Following expansion, Season Pass and select DLC's (Bozak Horde, Ultimate Survivor, Crash Test Skin).

These viral swarms are great fun!
Finished the community quests, nice to see a bunch of them this time.
Pro tip: The virals will head towards your general location even if you are camouflaged, so lure a pack of them to enemy soldiers (near airdrop/crates) and grab some popcorn. :)

AMD userss - if you feel like tinkering, Vulkan with RADV vs. AMDVLK gives quite different performance results for me, and there's word that ACO runs the OpenGL version well (haven't tested DG with ACO myself yet).

Quoting: PatolaJust like the GPU can do OpenCL for computations other than graphics, the matrices multiplication of RT units can be used to other stuff too, like the deep learning of DLSS... you can use NVIDIA's Optix in Blender to get the Cycles renderer to render your videos much faster.I thought Nvidia said the RT cores are specifically for ray tracing, and Tensor cores are for deep learning stuff. OptiX seems to utilize both [External Link].

Not sure we have a choice. In the end, it always comes down to cost. I remember dedicated Phys-X cards... does anyone else? That's how well that went.

Nice complement to the 3D FPS action/sim game Viscera Cleanup Detail [External Link] (ProtonDB Gold+) and the 2D action/stealth game Serial Cleaner [External Link] (Linux)
By the way, the stand alone game Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior [External Link] is free with purchase of Shadow Warrior [External Link] and both these are Linux native.
