hard to tell much from the video and pictures on steam, but it looks like a third person game. Looks nice, from the little that is there.

A developer from Bohemia Interactive wants to know your interest in the Arma 3 Linux port

I'm kind of interested... But, how long has it been "experimental"? I'll be damned if I'm going to buy a game that is not officially supported. And, given the sheer amount of bugs ppl are talking about here, I would probably wait and see if it is any good before I bothered to pull the trigger. Maybe if it had been officially supported 2 years ago I would have been more excited. But now? I guess I'd rather support stuff that actually supports me.

Reverse engineered source code for Diablo is now on GitHub

Quoting: slaapliedje
Quoting: GuestThis is awesome news! I love the Diablo games (as in 1 and 2...there was no 3 was there?)
There was the freeablo project to make an open engine, this moves that effort along much faster. Dunno if the freeablo developer will continue on his project, maybe he could help out on this one or take from it. Just hope i can finally play diablo on Linux soon.

(also somebody copy the source code before bizzard hears about this)
There is a Diablo 3, it just isn't good... like at all. About the only thing I would mark it as good are the graphics. Past that it is way too easy. Like I can set down my controller and leave the room and that is the only way I die, easy. The way they balanced it is ridiculous, and my brother and I were playing on the hoghest difficulty allowed.

This is cool though, Diablo 1 and 2 are still great games!
I'm pretty sure he was kidding, but yeah I thought Diablo 3 was a letdown too.

Are all these Total War games they keep pumping out actually different? I have a couple but I gotta admit I haven't really gotten around to playing them.

"...finding games you want to see could end up being a bigger problem, one they will need to solve. Obviously this is where the likes of us come in..."

I've found Steam's store unusable for a couple of years now. I pretty much exclusively use this site. All the more reason to support Liam I guess. So, I suppose that in that regard things won't change. But, I do not think it is good that the store is not usable. Honestly, I just clicked on "Best Sellers" and one of the first things listed for me was Left For Dead 2. And of course, I already have it as well as half of the games I see listed in front of me. Now, I suppose instead of seeing old crap I already have, there will be NEW crap that I don't want presented to me.

I do appreciate the different perspective on this though. I saw several articles about this change, and this is the only one that shows it in a positive light. I am sceptical myself, but I do understand that other outlets tend to love to bash on Steam.

FPS game 'STRAFE: Millennium Edition' has just added Linux support

Quoting: NeoTheFox...but it's otherwise overarchingly a very different style of game. A style of game that, unfortunately, is really not my thing....
Could you expand on that? What is it you don't like?

Yet another game that does not work with the steam link. Pretty disappointing. Thing is, I have so many games that I do not have to bother with the ones that do not run correct.

hmm, well, I bought it. Never bought anything from itch.io before. It does not recognize any input from my mouse. Any ideas?

Alright, apparently a bug with unity. Work around found from developer: https://itch.io/t/67718/how-to-run-the-game [External Link]
