Damn, I played loads of this game back in the day, it's pretty nice for what I believe was at the time a university project. I frankly would never have expected this one to resurface, specially because the devs seemed to have gone under years ago.
I wonder if they plan to release on GOG, because it's on the GOG's dreamlist.

Account-to-account payments is the way since it sidesteps the problematic payment processors completely, the governments just need to withstand the pressuring lobbies that are against it. Brazil has one called PIX [External Link] and it works great.

Quoting: TheRiddickGovernments needs to force them to include a Offline and/or peer2peer connection mode that is independent of the always online component.Yes, it's fairly common for MMOs in general to end up having community reverse-engineered private servers.
And for those saying some games its impossible! Keep in mind World Of Warcraft got community made private servers! Yes THE COMMUNITY made that happen not Blizzard! So they can easily and quickly do it!

This is a really cool project, I've been following them for a while now and they progress quite fast. It's a bummer that some people hinder their effort, a collaborator did an awesome job reworking some aspects of the game, making it more interesting, alas some people said that it was too far fetched from the original game, so it didn't make into the official build.

I don't believe the game is feature complete enough, specially endgame.

I'd say Killing Floor 2. Domina [External Link] is a great candidate too.
