Depends on the language transliteration. I think they changed it due to Russia invading Ukraine, since Chernobyl is Russian transliteration and Chornobyl is Ukrainian one.

I wish these engines didn't use some junk video codecs in this day and age. It's good to see that Everspace is trying to fix it, I wonder how exactly.
