Software renderer doesn't help with the mouse, and it also makes it impossible to Alt+Tab out of the game.

Oh, it started, it just takes almost 30 seconds of black screen first... The mouse lag is there.

I just tried to start the game (GOG version) and it simply produces black screen and nothing else.

Looks like some stuff wasn't upstreamed plus some suggest it's not even possible to fix properly without switching to SDL.

Honestly, it's 2019 and I really don't understand how this is still an issue for some games.That's due to the fact that AGS still hasn't switched to SDL and is using Allegro windowing toolkit, which is just bad. They seriously need to use something better.
Next problem: serious and unplayable mouse-lag.
