Quoting: ShmerlAnd you of course know about the failed MMORPG based on actual Vampire The Masquerade?
Nope didn't know about it!

The world needs a sequel to VtM:Bloodlines.
Sure, and I actually would prefer a single player game, rather than an MMORPG. Now that Paradox bought White Wolf, there is a chance something like this will come out. I also would be interested in game set in Dark Ages of WoD (not modern day, but medieval times and etc.). Like VtM Redemption.

I updated the trailer video above to better quality.

Never heard of it, but a game inspired by WoD / Vampire The Masquerade? I'm already interested.

Can't comment on the game since it's not available DRM-free, but there are a number of games I like quite a lot.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is officially coming to SteamOS & Linux, port by Feral Interactive

Quoting: Comandante oardoJust like with Tomb Raider and Life is Strange, Feral IS the publisher of the Linux and Mac versions, so they can choose... and they choose DRM...
Are you sure about that? They are just porting the game, they don't own it. If they indeed could choose, and they chose not to release it DRM-free, then it's worse and it's their fault.

Quoting: valguskDRM? Their right, people do pirate games too much.
DRM = treating customers like garbage. You know it has nothing to do with piracy, right? Supporting such practices you proliferate their usage. I'm all for supporting developers who release for Linux, but not when their publishers treat users like garbage. No, thanks.

Quoting: ShmerlInteresting, but DRMed unfortunately. I'll skip it.
Just because there is DRM on the Windows version doesn’t mean there will be on the Linux version. Feral haven’t said anything about DRM, have they?
I'll surely welcome its release on GOG, but Square Enix aren't frequenting it, besides some old games like the actual original Deus Ex. So I don't hold my breath about it.

Quoting: SirDeiuA GOG version would be bliss. Feral won't comply though :(
I don't think Feral have much say in this matter, it's decided by the publisher. And while Square Enix aren't against Linux versions, when DRM is concerned they are still in the dark ages. Kind of ironic, that a game which explores power corruption and its effect on society in dystopian / cyberpunk settings, is plagued by the same disease.
