One thing I found a bit strange about - it's causing me a major headache because of camera shaking. Switching off "head bob" setting makes it a bit better. Never really encountered it before in games.

I just got it on GOG. It's pretty GPU intensive. Unusual game though, and pretty well done.

You don't need Steam to install it right? So not sure why they need any permission to highlight the point that Steam Machiens are open enough.

I'm still pretty much concerned that it will be tied to Steam.

Quoting: tuubiUnity's tools for HLSL->GLSL conversion only support DX9 level shaders. That's probably what they mean.
I see. And it's too hard for them to rewrite it in GLSL from scratch?

Don't touch it with even with a ten foot pole when such agreement is attached.

What I don't really understand, how they can put any such requirement on using hardware? Can't you just buy it and use it disregarding this garbage EULA? Just say you don't accept it, and you pay for hardware, not for their services. Of course if software will be tied to their walled gardens, that would be more of an issue.

We still haven't decided around Linux support. Currently the game needs DX11 and doing the Linux (or OSX) version would require us to rewrite all the DX11 shaders and some other stuff to work on DX9 level APIs so unfortunately it's not just a simple change of a platform in Unity.
That's weird. Unity supports OpenGL 4.5: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/OpenGLCoreDetails.html [External Link]

May be they are using some ancient version of Unity?

Looks good. More cyberpunk games are welcome. Did anyone play Dex [External Link] by the way? How is the Linux version of their enhanced edition? I was waiting for it to come out on GOG, but it never did. I consider buying the DRM-free version in the Humble Store.
