Even if I like that 11 bit support Linux, their support generally isn´t that good. Anomaly Warzone earth and Anomaly 2 are good examples of this.

Steam Runtime Changes Inbound For Linux

Btw the promods scandinavian mod is quite better then the original map. The Going east part is better though, but not as good as promods. I also got the texture problem when running it on Linux though, I think the problem is that it´s only tested and supported on directX.

Quoting: Quote from minjIt is just a personal thing. I'd like to have it ingame so I would not need to worry about two things running. It supposedly switches to ingame music when you open up the menu and you can't have it on linux.I agree with Xpander here, getting music to work isn´t that important here. But you got a point though that Linux users should be able to use the same functions as Windows or Mac users. Did you know that you can disable the in-game music in options? I did and I use Spotify in the background, works great. Except that I got the same problems as M.C., fps drops in between. But it´s the same in Windows too.
Yes, you are right about content. I tried the promods mod btw and it is great to have a lot more countries but it has some sort of texture rendering issues on my machine. A general linux problem perhaps?
The whole point is to have linux treated equally and not as some sort of a bastard child. We all pay for the game just the same.

It just got released! Downloading it at the moment, hopefully it will work.
Edit: It works. After a few minutes I got some graphical glitch though, turning all the ground into black and the menu completely white. Restarted and then played for two hours without any issues.

Quoting: Quote from FoHI was very suprised to se Webhallen among those. Webhallen is a Scandinavian chain of swedish stores and an online shopping site for games, hardware etc. Not one I would put together with new hardware, but I think they might take a chance on this and be a forerunner here in Scandinavia. It's great to be able to buy Steam Machines close by! :DI was also suprised to see that. Webhallen is a great store with friendly staff, (at least in Malmö) fast shipping if ordering online and mostly nice prices. Won´t be buying a Steam machine though, since my gaming rig is about 6 months old, and I´m still upgrading it (recently an SSD from Webahllen). Now I know where to get my Steam controller though. :)

It´s really good to have a place like this where one may find out about games that may get ported if there´s demand for it. Good job!
