Quoting: 14Hmm, this looks pretty interesting.
It's a great game. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive, but that's a problem with every Space Sim.

Think indie 2D Elite Dangerous with great story and you'll get this.

Steam Play Proton 4.11-3 is out, big changes for gamepads and new D9VK

Proton will no longer emulate them all as if they were Xbox controllers, instead games will access them directly. So DualShock 4 (PS4) gamepads, fighting pads and more should behave more like they do on Windows.
Heureka!

I love Elite. I played it when on PS4 (before I sold it) and it was an amazing experience. One big minus for me is the insane amount of grind needed to get a good (not great ship) to do exploration. That was what made me stop playing it in the end.

But I would still definitely recommend it to all space sim fans. The precision of ship flying controls in Elite is unmatched. And I didn't even play it with Hotas, just with good old PS4 controller.

Also, great article :)

So if I buy Rust right now, I'm essentially getting it for free, or basically for borrowing money. Not bad..

That's a real pity, but also very strange. I was under the impression that both Hand of Fate games sold quite well. But it seems not well enough.
