To be honest, even as somebody liking programming puzzle games, I cannot recommend it blindly.
It's a special one. Sure do give it a look, but do so before buying. :)
Which programming puzzle games would you recommend?

Sounds like bad news to me. Well, I'm a man of my word:

There goes 10e from my wallet. (I brought Lisa, a game which is supposed to be "Like Earthbound with Perverts".)

Quoting: RoosterI wonder who was the initiator.. Valve or BattleEye? If Valve, then would mean they are putting quite a lot of effort into Steam Play. Interesting...

Quoting: fagnerlnI think that an anti cheat software will require a very specific proton version, and because of that, some games will need a legacy version.

I don't know, but to me, this will open a big door to cheaters.
That means, cheaters will run the game purposely through Linux, which means more people on Linux, so.. Yay?
Sounds like a worse scenario to me.
If we get a bigger marketshare beacause of cheaters, this will harm us a lot.
The companies will see, that supporting Linux is expensive and makes more problems (cheaters) - they will just stop it. Experiment was negative, so lets forget about Linux will be the answer....
What companies? This only affects Steam Play, not native Linux versions. So in worse case scenario, BattleEye will stop their Steam Play support and we would end up in the situation we are now. No biggie.

Easy Anti-Cheat are apparently "pausing" their Linux support, which could be a big problem (updated)

Guys, all pitchforks aside, as a community, there is really only 1 thing we can do to change stuff like this: Buy even more games on Linux. I know I will.

EDIT: Actually, from now on, every time there is bad news like developer not supporting Linux, game not working on Linux, Epic Game Store and their shenanigans etc... I will go and buy new game on Linux.

Supergiant Games now have Bastion, Transistor and Pyre up on itch.io

Pyre was my Game of the Year in 2017. If you like story-tournament-based-sport-games, and don't mind lots of reading (you are literally called Reader in that game) definitely pick this up.

Anyone knows other games which are this story-tournament-based gameplay style like Pyre and BattleChef Brigade?

It looks actually rather great, I'm curious as to why GOG didn't want to stock it.

Planet Nomads has left Early Access and feels like a big missed opportunity

It is much cheaper than No Man's Sky and it is Linux native so I would still consider buying it instead of NMS if it wasn't for the technical issues.

It can't be that much worse then NMS at release right? RIGHT?
