Quoting: SuperKeyThe funny thing is....WE the gamers, not specifically GamingoNlinUx gamers 'WE' gamers collectively could rectify this type of bllsht by not supporting the game when it moves to epic's store
I don't agree with this. After all, not buying the game at all is better for Epic Store than buying the game on Steam.

Our boycott should be against the Epic Store, not against Epic Games as whole. Because that way, it sends much clearer message, that you really have no interest in using that product of theirs.

I don't really see a problem? If you have Rocket League on Steam, nothing changes for you. If not, you can still buy it there until then.

Seems to me that the Metro Exodus and Satisfactory situation is way worse than this.

Quoting: GuestSo will the finished game be still available via itch? Or is there only the demo, and the final release will be steam only? The page is somewhat unclear (to me) in that point...
It's only the demo which is on itch. Only about 10 levels, most of which are really easy.

Quoting: KlaasOvercooked 2 is Windows-only on GOG. Too bad. I guess they don't want my money. :-(
Yeah, I was like wow that's a great price for a game I really enjoyed. I already have it on Steam, but since I love GOG, I might buy it there as well. Wait... what do you mean, Windows only!?

Baba Is You is an excellent rule-breaking puzzle game, some thoughts

Quoting: GuestMy only issue with the game is that they want $15 for a puzzle game with basically no graphics to speak of. Sounds like a very cool puzzle game, and I'm not saying graphics is what makes a game good, but that it seems like an unfair amount. Hard to know for certain without knowing how much money they've gotten, though, but given its attention no doubt it has been quite a bit and I wouldn't be surprised if they already have made up for the cost of making the game.
Same for me, but I simply wishlisted it and will wait for sale, so no biggie.

Disobedient Sheep looks like a highly amusing local multiplayer game coming to Linux

Quoting: ScooptaUnfortunately I've never really been into local multi-player. Usually I only ever play with friends online and I'm always a tad disappointed when a really fun looking game doesn't have online multiplayer.
For me, it's the exact opposite, so I'm glad this has local MP.

Quoting: tony1abDon't reach them. Reach Valve. Reach Proton support forums.
They're who, proudly, want to make all the games playable in linux.
They will do their best to make it compatible by fixing things in proton's code by programming, or by making deals with the developers.
Is the game on the Steamplay whitelist? No? Then don't expect support. The whitelist exists for a reason.
Doom is on whitelist and the multiplayer doesn't work either.

To be honest, I was disappointed in this. It sounded like something that should by all means be my thing, but it just wasn't. After the 3th playthrough (one playthrough last max 1 hour) I noticed how little variety there really is. Also, everything seems to be quite random, meaning there is no certain way to go for each scenario.

A joke is funny the first time you hear it, but repeating it over and over just becomes tedious.
