No idea why it is happening like that.

Quoting: EikeWhen I accept and the counter is at 16s or so, quite often it gets to 15/16 players and then it just closes. While when I wait for last 3 seconds, it always joins.Quoting: RoosterPro-tip: Wait until last 3 seconds before accepting a game. Why?

Then when I have enough money, I order a single drone for sniper rifle.

Quoting: ageresI personally like the drone system. By ordering a drone, you are potentially giving another player your exact position. That allows me to play this game in a way a proper Battle Royale should be played imo. You are either the hunter, or the hunted. I often follow a drone, hide and wait for the player to start moving. And the hunt can begin.Quoting: liamdaweThe drone system is boring? What makes you say that? It makes the gameplay incredibly dynamic.I haven't played any BR games, but I expected that players must always be on the run, searching for better stuff and weapons. Here, you just collect money, order lame pistols and SMGs, sit and wait for a drone. Lack of ammo doesn't sound appealing too. I was spectating a couple of matches after I died, and the remaining two players just did nothing but sitting on the same spot and looking at their tablets until the shrinking area forces them to move.
Quoting: GuestI would also add that the gameplay of CS is not outdated by any means. Many people only switched to GO because Valve was clear they were trying to model 1.6 gameplay with a graphics makeover.I played CS:GO since it was in beta (not much though), and at first it was indeed just CS: Source but with newer textures. It had nothing new, so people didn't want to play it. Then Gaben added all those xXtr3m3 weapons skins, and CS:GO got huge popularity among the schoolchildren who liked showing their classmates how cool their acid green M4 looks like. But the gameplay was always the same as in year 2000. Look at any popular online shooter of 2012, when CS:GO was released. You started a round in Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Whatever-game-it-was-in-2012, and instantly got into a wild action with airstrikes, helicopters, customizable weapons, etc. Different genres, I know, but still. Time passes, games evolve, Valve games don't. Why don't Valve make a completely new modern game instead of modding CS:GO?

By the way, when I run the game, there was a crash window (CS:GO has stopped responding). I didn't do anything, just waited a bit, then clicked on the game window again, and it is running fine.

Quoting: slaapliedjeNo swear I will buy 4 copies if that game comes to Linux.Quoting: Avehicle7887That's a surprising (and awesome) move by the devs, glad they're still supporting the game this far. Will patiently await Bannerlord till then :-)I was going to say, does this give a nice hint that 1) Bannerlord is coming soon™ and 2) It'll have Linux support (I think for a while there was some 'maybe / maybe not' going about).

Quoting: mao_dze_dunTrue, but I would like to point out that the GamingOnLinux community we have here is pretty much the nicest gaming community on internet, at least from what I have experienced.Quoting: TPhaster...we need friendly and welcoming community - they need to feel that Linux OS is for everybody and not for small tech elite.Problem number one for the majority of people who tried Linux and then gave up, because thy were trolled on reddit by some elitist a**hole. Even some of the people on the Linux gaming sub-reddit are just insufferable. A few weeks back I was called out for having a "parasitic way of thinking" because I dared to express my view that an OS is nothing more than a tool and I will use both Windows and Linux for whatever purpose they best suit me. Then there was this other person, who tried to explain to me that not having Photoshop or Vegas Pro was somehow the fault of both the developer and the user. Essentially, people who need professional software had to be ashamed they need non-Linux software and use Linux anyway. Because f*ck your job - open source for life :). You just need a bit of a thick skin when you're in the Linux community. 9 people are extremely friendly and helpful, but the 10th makes Apple fanboys go "Daaaaaaaaamn!!!" :))).
