I wish I had the money for this right now, but alas I shall be waiting. I kind of wish I'd backed it all those years ago.

After doing a bit of research i think the 1400x would be a decent enough upgrade from my 8350 to justify the cost. It will be a few months to wait though. Upgrading the mobo ram and cpu all at once is pricey enough without getting too smitten with numbers i wouldnt really use.

Only just noticed this and now happily have GOG Galaxy. The .exe just worked with absolutely no issues.
I'm downloading the Gwent Beta now to see if that will run.

I looked over the Linux distro breakdown with interest because I was wondering if anyone was using Solus. I only found out about it a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone used it? Is it good/bad?

Quoting: GuestHi Sir Liam,I like this idea. Mainly because I want to see if there are any Linux gamers in Antarctica. I bet they get much better internet speeds than here in Manchester.
I don't know if it's just me but I'm curios how Linux gamers are scattered around the world. Are you open to the idea of adding the continent where a GOL member resides?
North America
South America
Europe
Asia
Africa
Australia
Antarctica
I live in the Philippines (Asia) and we do have a Linux community here but it is not focused on gaming.
Thanks :)

I may cause some ruffled feathers here but the only thing I see wrong here is this article. Why you are calling out a mod of a steam forum for enforcing rules is simply beyond me. The whole '+1' trend, like Liam mentions, is spam, and publicly questioning the moderation of those forums is a no-go and rightly so.
You mention meraco and accuse him of something you don't actually have any proof of (or at least provide any proof of here) and his response is far more reasonable than your characterisation of him.
This type of article looks like a call to arms against particular individuals. Is it any wonder that linux gamers get a reputation for toxicity?

I had my hand hovering over the pledge button for this yesterday, mostly because of the strength of the team they have on this, but it was the fact that we might never see a version that stopped me. When it comes out, I'm pretty sure that It'll be damn good though.

I've had the cd version for years, with kingdoms included, and it was my favourite Total War game.
It turns out that the key code for the game, on the manual, works to activate it on steam too. Voila, linux version downloading now.
