Reports aren't inaccurate. They are just... reports. So for some on their hardware, distro, drivers it worked for them or not. There are plenty of games who are marked "completely stable" and "won't start" or "crashes" at the same time.
There are too many variables within Linux and hardware. They are merely an estimate prediction. Even whitelisted games don't work for everyone.
In fact, in Windows, not all games work correctly so there is no reason to assume that whitelisted games would work for everyone.
Also, I'm not sure if people remember that Vulkan currently doesn't work with Bumblebee. If a game is DX11 or DX12 it won't work on Bumblebee with Steam's proton. One must use nvidia-xrun for Vulkan to be working on Optimus laptops (with hybrid nvidia graphics).

There are some workarounds thou. I heard that if you use nvidia-xrun you can use vulkan, but it's complicated to make so you need to search more on this topic and experiment. I haven't tested it. I have the same situation but since my SSD is not big enough to install such big games, I'm in no hurry to dive into it.

Quoting: knotted10When I try to run it I got a Failed to create Vulkan device: -3As far I know, Bumblebee doesn't support Vulcan...
Anyone with the same issue?
I'm running Manjaro 17.1.8 with bumblebee and NVIDIA 390.48 driver
